At the start of the game, all the pieces are on their home squares. As White, you have the first move. New players to chess just tend to push those pawns as far as they can, and then lose very quickly. We want you to get a good opening on the board, and from there, develop your chess skills with middlegame knowledge, sharp tactics and endgame skills!
