The club play in the East Lancashire Chess Association league, and have teams in Division 1 and Division 2.

Directions

From the A59 turn onto Pendle Road, drive for about a mile, crossing over several roundabouts until you reach the roundabout on A671. Follow the road up Moor Lane, turn right into Castle Street, then right again onto Wellgate. Finally, turn right again onto Lowergate. There is a car park at the bottom of Lowergate (Lowergate Car Park). From the car park, walk 100 yards back up Lowergate and the Buck Inn is on the right hand side on the junction of Lowegate, Wellgarte and Shawbridge Street.

The directions take into account the one-way system in place. However, these instructions are only a guidance so always follow road signs.
