The Lancashire Chess Association Rapidplay championship will take place on Sunday 4th October, starting at 10am.
Venue is Crusaders Chess Club, St Pauls Club, Montague St, Blackburn BB2 1EE
£30 Winner Prize and Trophy; £20 Runner Up Prize;
£30 Prize for best U1650 plus trophy; £20 Prize for U1650 Runner Up.
Tie-breaks will be in use for the prize fund and trophy winners.
Rapidplay Grades as of 1st October will be used, where a Rapidplay Grade is not available then Standardplay grades will be use.
ECF Membership Required – you must be an ECF Bronze of Gold Member at the time the event takes place. This is a CLOSED championship event. Only players who are registered with an affiliated club, or live in Lancashire are eligible for entry.
There is a team trophy with the aggregate of the top 4 players from each club counting towards the team result. Only clubs who have paid their Lancashire Affiliation fee qualify for entry for the team trophy.
